We continually require applicants for our sub alpine team, our alpine cliff rescue team, WanderSearch team, our administration team and the support team. We recruit once a year, normally in October.

Wakatipu Search and Rescue is a volunteer organisation almost entirely funded by donations and generous benefactors.

Our operational and safety equipment is expensive. Our training requires continual funding.
